Class Descriptions/Dress Code Ages 3-6 Years

Pre-Ballet:

An introduction to ballet, will teach basic feet and arm positions, coordination steps such as skipping and galloping, and classroom etiquette, 45 minute class

Girls Dress:

Leotard with or without attached skirt, pink tights or white socks, pink ballet shoes with elastic

Boys Dress:

Black shorts or stretchy pants, white t-shirt tucked in, black ballet shoes with elastic

Tap:

Age 5-6yrs, learn essential rhythm, timing, and coordination steps in this fun 45 minute class

Girls Dress:

Leotard with or without attached skirt, pink tights or white socks, black tap shoes with elastic – No ribbons please!

Boys Dress:

Black shorts or stretchy pants, white t-shirt tucked in, black lace up or slip on tap shoes

Pre-Ballet/Tap Combo:

30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap

Girls Dress:

Leotard with or without attached skirt, pink tights or white socks, black tap shoes with elastic and pink ballet shoes with elastic

Boys Dress:

Black shorts or stretchy pants, white t-shirt tucked in, black lace up or slip on tap shoes and black ballet shoes with elastic

Creative Movement/Acro:

30 minutes of movement using props, imagery, and fun music then 30 minutes of basic acro skills such as forward rolls and cartwheels

Girls Dress:

Leotard with or without attached skirt, pink tights or white socks, pink ballet shoes with elastic, bare feet for acro

Boys Dress:

Black shorts or stretchy pants, white t-shirt tucked in, black ballet shoes with elastic, bare feet for acro

Mini Hip Hop / Little Guys Only Hip Hop:

Ages 5-6yrs, a fun 45 minute class focusing on the popular, urban style of dance that originated on the streets, age appropriate music

Girls Dress:

Leotard and dance shorts or pants, black jazz shoes or jazz sneakers

Boys Dress:

Loose clothing, dance sneakers

* Hair for all classes should be pulled up and back in a bun or ponytail
